Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent payment and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Please confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will schedule your official move-in and a time for your inspection when you sign your lease.

Utilities

Utility accounts for your rental property need to be placed in your name immediately following the lease signing.

Please make sure to take care of this promptly to avoid losing access to your utilities.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of your rental home? Please refer to your lease to determine your legal move-out date. You are responsible for paying your rent through this date.

Please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate, in accordance with the terms of your lease.

Property Condition

Your property needs to be brought back to rent-ready condition before handing in the keys for your rental home.

Rental Cleaning: Before handing in the keys to your rental home, please carefully remove all of your belongings and dispose of any trash in the property. Next, you'll need to deep clean the home, wiping down walls & hard surfaces and cleaning the floors.

Outdoor Areas: If you routinely address outdoor landscaping tasks like mowing the lawn, handling the garden areas, etc., please do these tasks once more before vacating.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please do everything possible to address this damage. This may include patching nail and screw holes, repainting discolored walls, and replacing any broken glass.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit safeguards against any damage that may occur during your stay. We will perform a final inspection after you move out; if we identify any damage, we will make the necessary repairs using the deposit funds. The remainder will be returned to you with an itemized statement.

Please remember, you cannot use your security deposit to cover your final rent payment. Failure to pay your last rent bill may result in adverse credit reporting, late fees, and legal action.
